Veda Joins With High Tech Companies To Take NZ Businesses Digital
September 2011
Data intelligence company Veda is joining forces with New Zealand Post and Xero to enable companies to transact their businesses on-line more efficiently.
New Zealand Post is developing a range of digital solutions that will allow businesses to have an easy and secure digital channel to manage all their essential mail. This channel not only would allow businesses to receive, pay and store their essential communication digitally, but will allow the data to be easily integrated and interchange with other business systems like accounting systems, workflow management etc., saving businesses hours of re-keying information.
The digital partnership will initially provide online company address validation and digital invoicing.
Veda Managing Director John Roberts says, “The critical feature for businesses working on-line is to be truly confident that their identity is protected and that they are confident that the business customers they are dealing with are who they say they are.”
Veda brings identity verification expertise to the New Zealand Post relationship and will work with the company to develop a comprehensive New Zealand business database providing name, address, GPS coordinates and details of what the company does.
John Roberts says “ultimately the project will deliver a form of single business number which we know will make doing business more efficient on a number of levels.”
“The development project is exciting as it will underpin savings, efficiencies and growth for New Zealand businesses as they step up to a more integrated digital platform.”
