Training partnership for Horowhenua Kapiti businesses

6 September 2011
Training partnership announced for Horowhenua Kapiti businesses

Nature Coast Enterprise is delighted to announce a new training partnership with The Employers’ Chamber of Commerce Central (ECCC). This partnership means that any Horowhenua Kapiti business can get help to succeed in today’s competitive business environment.

Over the next two months there will be specific courses developed that will be delivered in Paraparaumu and Levin in addition to generic courses already being delivered by ECCC in Palmerston North, Wanganui and Wellington. Nature Coast Enterprise members will receive a 13.5% discount on all ECCC Training Courses. Nature Coast Enterprise will regularly communicate training opportunities to those in our database who have asked to receive training information.

Lynn Harris of ECCC says “ECCC is looking forward to providing a training programme for Horowhenua Kapiti businesses through our relationship with Nature Coast Enterprise. Training can create bridges between skills building, core competencies, and performance management. An organisation that invests in continuous learning will not only grow their organisational capability but also its capacity. Our training and coaching programmes are based on toolkits that provide learning and development that can be immediately transferred into the workplace.”

Helene Judge of Nature Coast Enterprise is very pleased about the ECCC partnership as “they are a recognised leader in training through their generic and customised training solutions. Training is one way of staying relevant and competitive within the market and we encourage all businesses to budget for training.”

By investing in any ECCC training solution businesses may also qualify to receive capability development vouchers to help pay 50% for services like training workshops, courses and coaching. These vouchers are facilitated by Nature Coast Enterprise.
