The new generation bale netting – Scarecrow BaleNet
The new generation bale netting – Scarecrow BaleNet
Over the last five years Scarecrow Solutions has made a mark on the New Zealand agricultural, horticultural and viticulture markets for their extensive range of crop protection netting products. Specialists in nets of all kinds including bird and pest nets, hail, frost and wind protection, as well as weed matting and shade netting, Scarecrow has set new standards in UV resistant, cost effective netting solutions.
Building on this reputation, Scarecrow is bringing another innovation to the New Zealand market – a new type of bale net which is lighter, stronger, and more cost effective than the current bale net sold in the Southern hemisphere.
Scarecrow is lowering baling costs in New Zealand by utilising new technology in bale net manufacturing. HDPE monofilament yarns are used in place of flat tape to construct a bale net that is both stronger and lighter as well as UV stabilised for New Zealand’s harsh environment.
Scarecrow Solutions Business Manager, Daniel Pickering says ‘This new development from Scarecrow is set to take over the bale netting market in New Zealand and we are proud to stand by our new product which has been tried and tested by two of New Zealand’s leading contractors using John Deere and McHale balers, with perfect results.’
‘There are many new features that will benefit our customers. Superior strength, reinforced edges, 30 meter red warning yarns to indicate the roll end to name a few. And the great thing is our nets are 100% recyclable.’
