Cyclone to supply Apple products to Government

All government employees now have potential access to Apple devices in their work place, as the Department of Internal Affairs welcomes Cyclone as a supplier of Apple products.

Cyclone Computers, one of New Zealand’s longest serving and largest ICT resellers to the education sector, has been named as a new Apple computer supplier to government under an All-of-Government (AoG) IT supply agreement.

Cyclone is already a supplier to government of Cyclone branded, locally assembled PCs. This appointment will further enhance the company’s credibility and respect as the ICT leader in this sector.

Last year Cyclone became a new Apple Authorised Education Reseller. They invested heavily in recruiting the most experienced Apple education sales and support team in New Zealand.

This investment has now paid off. Not only will Cyclone continue to provide for education sector customers (tertiary and schools), but the company will now also work with all government funded agencies via the AoG procurement process.

The company will make the full Apple desktop and MacBook Pro range available and also the Apple iPad range.

Cyclone’s expert and experienced consulting team, which enables institutions and enterprise customers to integrate and manage Apple (and other platform) mobile devices will also be available to all Participating Agencies.

“This is a significant acknowledgment of the considerable expertise we have in the use of Apple solutions in the education sector and beyond,” said Cyclone’s Apple Division General Manager, Graham Prentice.
