Chalkydigits’ Releases Kiwiana
Cushions
Iconic New Zealand clothing brand
Chalkydigits has made their first foray into designer
homewares with the release of their Summer 11.12 range of
eco-inspired cushions. In quintessential chalkydigits style,
the cushions feature graphics of our unique native flora and
fauna; Ngaio and Kowhai trees make an appearance and so too
does our endangered songbird, the kokako, depicted in a
striking loveheart motif. With a choice of nice neutrals or
a fruity-fresh watermelon tone, there’s a shade to suit
everyone. Made from 100% flax linen and at the swish price
of $89, these lush pieces are sure to help you get your
house groove on – but get in quick as they are strictly
limited edition!

CHALKYDIGITS BACKGROUND
A Quintessentially Kiwi
Company
Chalkydigits is a true pioneer of
creative lifestyle wear in New Zealand. They remain
committed to NZ manufacture, using sustainable practises and
materials as much as they can and giving something back to
the unique environment that inspires them. Chalkydigits is a
values-based business and it’s these shared values that
provide the platform for all they do:
Creative
expression
They love to tell their stories of
what it means to be a kiwi living in paradise. They do this
by designing creative, high quality wearable art that is
inspired by and reflective of our unique culture and
land.
NZ made & proud of it!
By
keeping it local, chalkydigits ensure that opportunities,
employment and skills are always available for the people of
our nation. This makes their carbon footprint smaller too.
As conscious and caring folk, they understand how important
this is for our future.
Sustainable practises &
materials
Chalkydigits use ethical, traceable
and organic fibres and source material close to home as much
as possible. They aim to be conscious of our environment at
work, and conscious of our work in the
environment!
Looking after our
land
Chalkydigits loves this land so helping
protect it is a no-brainer; they have successfully restored
the South Island robin to Chalky Island in 2009 and now,
with your help, they want to protect our native kokako
too.
