Three Keys to unlock Trilogy’s story

The young leaders networking group, Three Keys, is bringing Trilogy group co-founder, Catherine DeGroot to the Manawatu to inspire some of the region’s up and coming business people.

Listed on Deloitte's Fast 50 for three consecutive years, Trilogy natural skincare products are sold in over 2000 stores in 10 international markets including Asia, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and even Scott Base in Antarctica. And it’s all been done from New Zealand.

Catherine’s presentation epitomises the purpose of the Three Keys network. Tomorrow’s young leaders will get the chance to mingle with today’s business people to exchange ideas and advice. The audience will learn how Catherine, together with her sister, Sarah Gibbs, took Trilogy from a shed in the Hutt Valley to a thriving skincare company competing on the world stage, later selling it to fellow Kiwi entrepreneurs for up to $20m. Along the way, they developed their internationally recognised R-Proof anti-recession campaign, now implemented by over 100 businesses throughout New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

The style of presentations makes the Three Keys network unique. Because each speaker is encouraged to distil the their ideas into three key points, presentations are real, candid and direct. The result is that they are more effective and much easier for the audience to remember and to learn from.

Catherine’s presentation is the second in a series of six networking events organised by Three Keys. Next month it has secured Mario Wynands to share his inspirational insights. Mario is the brains behind Sidhe Interactive, New Zealand’s largest game production studio, which is licensed to develop for Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Apple.

Three Keys is a not for profit organisation, founded by Palmerston North Branches of BNZ, Manawatu BDO, Core Wealth Solutions and Blacksheepdesign. Catherine DeGroot speaks at Thursday’s event, which is sponsored by Massey University and takes place at Te Manawa museum on Thursday 13 October at 5:30pm. Tickets and memberships are only available online at www.3keys.co.nz.
