Want A Fair Deal on Your Power Bill? Just Energy Wants You – and to hear about your community’s little kiwi battlers
Straight talking, independent electricity retailer Just Energy is introducing its full value fair deal to households and small businesses in the Northpower network including but not limited to Whangarei, Hikurangi, Ruakaka, Waipu and Dargaville.
“We don’t believe that kiwis should pay so much for power,” says Just Energy’s Marketing Manager Jason Davis. “We’re committed to providing consumers around provincial and rural New Zealand with real choice. We’ll deliver a full value service at the best possible local price and keep our prices as low as possible for as long as possible.
“If you want a fair deal on your power bills, then we want you. All you have to do as our customer is pay the bill on time and if you sign up for 18 months we’ll also give a 15% prompt payment discount. And you can do this when our door to door team calls, visit the website or phone us direct if that’s what you prefer.”
Just Energy is the consumer arm of Pulse Utilities which is listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. It is majority owned by a South Island electricity consumer trust and is the fastest growing electricity retailer in the country, on track to achieve its target of securing over 40,000 customers by March 2012.
“We are the David looking out for the little guy against the Goliaths of the electricity sector. And we’re succeeding. We are a kiwi owned and managed company, providing jobs to locals and have our call centre here in New Zealand,” Mr Davis said. “We are a little kiwi battler, unafraid of rattling the cages to hurry up reforms to the electricity sector. We have the advantage over the giant network and lines companies of being nimble, brave and responsive to the times with a fresh, appealing offer that gives customers real value.”
As the customer focused
little battler, Just Energy wants to support other little
kiwi battlers in the local community. “Tell us about the
battlers in your community who need a hand,” Mr Davis
said. Send your Little Kiwi Battler name and story to
