Another win for Te Waonui
Te Waonui Forest Retreat in Franz Josef is delighted to be awarded the “Supplier of the Year” Award in the Premier-Plus category by renowned tour company Australia Pacific Tours.
APT’s Premier-Plus Escorted Tours chooses only the finest first-class properties for their clients. Services and facilities must be truly luxurious and unrivalled in elegance and indulgence. Finalists in the section included The Hermitage Hotel in the heart of Mount Cook National Park, Edgewater Resort on the shores of Lake Wanaka and the InterContinental Hotel in Wellington.
Te Waonui General Manager Karl Snyman says winning the award over such an esteemed group was an honour. “Of course we aim to provide the very best in facilities and service at Te Waonui, and we were delighted to be finalists. To be the winner – chosen by APT’s clients, staff and crew – is a testament to the care and dedication we put into every single guest. It’s fantastic recognition for us all.”
Te Waonui opened in 2009 as a showcase of the very best in New Zealand design and construction. One hundred percent New Zealand owned, the hotel offers the highest level of accommodation and travel experience. “Te Waonui is a perfect example of the very best in sustainable and environmentally respectful tourism,” says Mr Snyman. “To be recognised for our efforts reinforces the importance and relevance of high-end, sustainable tourism.”
