Large Waikato Veterinary Practice Rebrands - Anexa Animal Health
We are excited to announce that we are bringing together the Animal Health Centre and Anexa practices under the one name Anexa Animal Health, to better reflect who we are and the depth of service we can offer clients and industry stakeholders.
Our background
The practice began in Morrinsville in 1939, as Morrinsville District Veterinary Club and remains an incorporated society, owned by farmers, for farmers. The practice grew to include clinics in Matamata, Te Aroha, Dinsdale and Rototuna. Five years ago the club purchased three other veterinary practices, in Gordonton, North Waikato and Raglan. These clinics were branded Anexa.
Growth in both businesses has been fantastic, and it is now a logical progression to have one brand.
What Anexa means
You may be interested to know how the name Anexa was derived. It is from a play on the words Animal Excellence and 'Anex' meaning 'to join together'.
Anexa Animal Health is committed to working with clients to help you evaluate your whole business, identify limits to production and customise new farm management systems according to your individual farm and herd needs. With Anexa Animal Health you get the benefit of expert advice from a whole farm perspective. We know that your productivity relies not only on the performance of individual cows but on the herd as a whole.

Anexa Animal Health is a leading veterinary practice, specialising in production animals. We have ten clinics across the Waikato formally branded Animal Health Centre and Anexa. Founded in 1939, the Animal Health Centre, was formed first and foremost to serve the needs of our local farmers and remains an incorporated society. Our veterinary clinics are in Morrinsville, Matamata, Te Aroha, Dinsdale, Rototuna, Gordonton, Huntly, Te Kauwhata, Ngaruawahia and Raglan.
