Interislander update
Interislander update
Update From: Thomas Davis, Interislander general manager.
Tests carried out while Aratere was berthed at Aotea Wharf last night were successful but there is more to do. Work is continuing on the ship's engines today to carry out further testing.
Passengers and freight customers that were to travel on today's cancelled sailings have been contacted to make alternative arrangements for them. Kaitaki and Arahura, Interislander's other ships, are carrying as much of Aratere's load as possible within their scheduled services.
