Termination of Statutory Management
Jean Hubbard welcomed today's announcement by the Government that her statutory management and that of her late husband, Allan, have been terminated.
"I am very pleased that statutory management has come to an end and am looking forward to leading a normal life again", said Mrs Hubbard.
"My advisors and I have been working co-operatively with the statutory managers and their advisors for some time now; termination of statutory management won't change that."
Aorangi Securities Limited, Hubbard Management Funds, Te Tua Charitable Trust and a number of other trusts remain in statutory management. Investors in, and borrowers from, those entities should continue to liaise with the statutory managers as they have been until now.
Mrs Hubbard thanks her family, friends and supporters for all their support over the last year and a half, and especially after Allan's death in September this year.
Mrs Hubbard will be making no further statements at this time and asks people to respect her privacy and that of her family.
