LocatingUs Secures Prison Services
LocatingUs, the IT company that specialises in online visitor management software, has successfully rolled out its web-based people presence service, WhosOnLocation, to 19 prisons across the country.
LocatingUs worked with the Department of Corrections to give prison gate house staff across all 19 prisons real-time access to photos, credentials, and the rights of access of thousands of approved volunteer service providers who visit prisons each week.
As part of the solution LocatingUs partnered with ADT Armourguard to deliver a fully integrated ID Card Bureau service making the process of validating a volunteer service provider’s credentials as simple as swiping an ID Card. WhosOnLocation gives the Department’s Prison Services unprecedented control over access rights, ID validation, and reporting.
Over 1.5 million visitor events have been
processed in the last 18 months by customers already using
WhosOnLocation, the world’s most advanced Software as a
Service people presence management service. With
WhosOnLocation welcoming thousands of visitors and
contractors each day to corporate offices, government
departments, construction and project sites, and
manufacturing plants this latest contract gives LocatingUs a
stake in the ground for high-security sites.
