Northland 2011 Visitor Passport Winner Announced
The
Northland 2011 Visitor Passport prize package was drawn on
Friday 4th November with the lucky winner confirmed as
Moreen Mennie of Kaiwaka.
The Northland prize package consists of 10 days Maui Motorhome rental, 4 night’s accommodation at Auckland City Hotel, Hobson St, 10 night’s accommodation throughout Northland including Baylys Beach Holiday Park (2 nights), Rawene Holiday Park (2 nights), Haruru Falls Resort (4 nights), Camp Waipu Cove (2 nights) as well as a variety of Northland attractions such as The Kauri Museum, Matakohe; SheepWorld, Warkworth; The Waipu Museum, Waipu; The Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Bay of Islands; Fullers Great Sights Bay of Islands Combo including a 1 day bus trip to Cape Reinga & ½ day trip to the Hole in the Rock.
The Northland 2011 Visitor Passport was produced to promote and market Northland during Rugby World Cup 2011. The Visitor Passport has been in circulation since August and to be eligible for the prize draw visitors were required to collect 5 passport stamps from participating businesses in Northland. Entries for the prize draw were received from visitors as far away as the UK.
Moreen Mennie is said to be thrilled to have won the Northland Prize Package as she has never won anything before and is looking forward to seeing some of the north she hasn’t yet seen.
