Media Release 6 December 2011

3 Wise Men Opens its Doors in Hamilton

New Zealand menswear fashion retailer 3 Wise Men will open a new store on Hamilton’s Victoria Street tomorrow [Wednesday 7 December] just in time for Christmas. It is the retailer’s eighth store, complementing its other outlets in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Sydney.

The 3 Wise Men brand has gone from strength to strength over the last six years with successful stores launched throughout the country and across the Tasman, along with a thriving online store. The Hamilton store opening comes off the back of the launch of 3 Wise Men’s first handmade leather shoe collection in November.

The 120 square metre contemporary store at 371 Victoria Street is located on a key shopping strip between Urge and The Scullery. It will stock the complete 3 Wise Men collection including business shirts, leather shoes, suits, ties, boxer shorts, cufflinks, socks, leather satchels and wallets.

3 Wise Men co-founder Richard Miles says he is looking forward to keeping the men of Hamilton looking sharp in the latest threads.

“We’ve been watching Hamilton with interest for a while now,” says Richard. “The city is really taking off and we saw a reasonable gap for a specialist shirt retailer in the area so we decided to go for it.

“We’re really excited to be part of the city’s bustling retail precinct. Given we already have a loyal online following in Hamilton we’re confident it will be well received by the city’s men of all ages,” he adds.
