Air New Zealand success in All of Government Air Travel Tender
Air New Zealand welcomes news it has been successful in its tender to supply air travel services to all New Zealand Government agencies, as sole preferred supplier for all domestic travel and a preferred supplier for international travel.
“This is Air New Zealand’s largest commercial contract with terms mutually beneficial for both the Government and the airline,” says Air New Zealand Group General Manager Australasia Airline Bruce Parton.
“The terms of the contract, which are for an initial five year period, have enabled us to deliver an innovative flight booking solution with cost savings passed onto Government, while at the same time retaining appropriate volumes and yield for the airline.
“It also gives Air New Zealand the surety to continue in its multi-billion dollar investment programme of new aircraft and technology, particularly in the domestic and regional network.”
Specific commercial terms of the contract are confidential.
