Beef + Lamb New Zealand Director Elections
Nominations have now closed for the two farmer-elected positions on the Board of Beef + Lamb New Zealand.
Three nominations have been received for the Northern North Island electorate. The candidates are Robert MacNab of Ngaruawahia, James Parsons of Broadwood (incumbent) and Kevin Robinson of Thames.
Three nominations have been received for the Northern South Island electorate. The candidates are Andy Fox of Amberley (incumbent), Jeremy Rookes of Amberley and Phil Smith of Culverden.
The election will be conducted by postal and internet ballot. Voting papers, along with information about the candidates will be sent to registered electors on 15 February 2012.
Only registered electors can vote and farmers can check they are on the Beef + Lamb New Zealand Electoral Roll by calling the Election Helpline 0508 666 336.
Election Day is 8 March 2012.
