Thrifty Car Rental shows its support for Christchurch
Thrifty Car Rental is signaling its commitment to Christchurch this week with the launch of its newly renovated Airport location.
The business, which has its national Head Office in Christchurch housing 45 employees, has invested in an innovative retail store at Christchurch Airport which will open to domestic travellers on Wednesday 8 February.
Thrifty Car Rental General Manager for New Zealand, Emma Gardiner, said: “Our new retail store at the airport is a flagship design for Thrifty NZ. We are challenging the traditional design of a car rental counter by providing a welcoming and inviting experience for our customers.”
“Well positioned as the gateway to the South Island, we are excited about the upcoming ski season and the opportunities that this presents for both Thrifty and Christchurch city as a tourism destination.”
Thrifty’s launch on Wednesday 8 February will include retail offers, as well as promotional giveaways throughout the day.
