CWT Sees Record Year in Performance

Carlson Wagonlit Travel today announced strong business performance results for 2011, with Asia Pacific leading the way. Local market-specific statistics for Australia and New Zealand are provided below for your reference.

Key takeouts from 2011 business performance results include:

Asia Pacific led the way in transactions, up 18.5% year over year
• Worldwide sales volume (US$28 billion) grew by 15.2% compared to 2010
• CWT achieved a 96% client retention rate and won US$2.2 billion in new sales

CWT’s results reflect regional economic trends around the world. CWT grew most in Asia Pacific, where transactions increased by 18.5% year over year.
