Directors re-elected
Two incumbent Beef +
Lamb New Zealand Directors, James Parsons and Andy Fox have
been relected to the Board of Beef + Lamb New Zealand.
Northern North Island Director James Parsons received 9,348 votes while Rob MacNab received 3,152 and Kevin Robinson 677.
Northern South Island Director Andy Fox received 5,198 votes while Phillip Smith received 4,143 and Jeremy Rookes 2,095.
The voting percentage for the Northern North Island electorate was 2381 per cent which represents about 35 per cent of the sheep and beef industry in the district.
In the Northern South Island the voting
return was 31.4 per cent which represents about 39 per cent
of the sheep and beef industry in the district.

Lamb New Zealand's B oard has eight D irectors.
Farmers elect six to represent three electorates in the
North Island and three in the South Island.
Terms are
for three years, and elections are rotated.
Two D
irectors are appointed on the recommendation of the Meat
Industry Association to represent meat processors and
exporters.
