Samsung New Zealand is pleased to announce that Jon Barrell has been appointed as Sales Director, responsible for Consumer Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Jon joins Samsung New Zealand from Lion Dairy & Drinks, where he was the Country Manager for two years. Jon’s extensive career spans 20 years - he has previously held senior positions with Goodman Fielder, DB Breweries and Coca-Cola Amatil.
Chang Kim, Samsung New Zealand Country Manager, says he is looking forward to welcoming Jon to the Samsung team.
“Appointing a sales director across our whole business will better support our growth and provide even greater strategic direction. Jon’s wealth of experience will be a real asset to our team.
“We have seen extensive growth in the New Zealand market across all categories and we have set ambitious targets for this year and beyond. Jon’s strong leadership skills and sales acumen will ensure Samsung is able to not only meet but hopefully exceed these targets.”
