New manager offers support for west businesses
There’s a new ‘face’ joining the west Auckland business community.
From today Zane Taylor will join Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) as Manager, Business Growth – West, based in its Henderson office.
ATEED, a council controlled organisation, aims to develop tourism, deliver events and improve the economic performance of the region and international awareness of Auckland as a desirable place to visit, live, work, invest and do business.
Zane Taylor has 28 years commercial experience in sales, marketing and business development and was an elected member of Rodney District Council for three years. His work history includes significant local and international experience in the inbound tourism sector and he also holds a Bachelor’s Degree Graduate Diploma in Economic Development.
“I’m excited to bring my experience from the private and public sector to this role, particularly in relation to business and sector development and sustainable business practice,” says Mr Taylor
“I am looking forward to meeting the key stakeholders in Auckland West and working with this diverse and vibrant business community. ”
ATEED Manager Business Capability and Local Offices, Smina Vanlerberghe says, “Zane’s background in business and economic development will be a great asset to ATEED. He brings a level of expertise to the role that will complement the business growth programmes we offer in Auckland.”
