Winning advice
Winning advice
Business Kapiti Horowhenua has chosen two of last year’s winners to give advice to the potential winners of this year’s Electra Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards.
At the two free information sessions to be held in Horowhenua and Kapiti this week ... Simone Vasta from the 2011 Business of the Year, Tuatara Brewery and Darrell Stratton from the 2011 Emerging Business of the Year, Emkay Girl, will describe how they prepared and won.
BKH Chair, Tony Rush points out that Tuatara also won the High Growth, Operational Capability and Marketing & Image Building categories, so he believes the company is in a good position to offer advice to businesses considering entering the awards.
“To be an emerging business winner shows considerable strength for a new operator,” he says, “and Emkay’s experience will be valuable information for this year’s new entrants.”
The information sessions are being held at Bank of New Zealand branches, in Levin this Tuesday, 24th, and in Paraparaumu on Thursday, 26th, from 5.30-6.30pm. For catering purposes businesses interested in attending need to register at www.bkh.org.nz/information_evenings or email Kirsten@scopevents.co.nz
The annual meeting of BKH will be the final part of the Levin session.
