Customers Choose Postie as Clothing Store of the Year

Media Release 27 April 2012
Customers Choose Postie as Clothing Store of the Year

New Zealanders have chosen the family friendly Postie chain as their Clothing Store of the Year in the inaugural Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.

“We are thrilled to be the customer choice of Clothing Store of the Year,” said Postie Plus Group CEO, Ron Boskell. “We will continue to lift our service and product offer to ensure we have something that appeals to every member of the family at one of our 82 Postie shops across the country. We’ve got big plans too for expanding our retail presence with complementary brands to be an exciting, modern retailer while remaining true to our loyal, middle New Zealand customers.”

The independent research company, Roy Morgan New Zealand collected customer satisfaction ratings from its annual Single Source survey of approximately 12,000 New Zealanders aged 14 years and over to identify the top retailers and service providers.

Respondents were asked to rate products or services on a five-point scale from ‘very satisfied’ to ‘very dissatisfied’ with the category winner the organisation that has achieved the most months with a number one ranking.

“In tough economic times, the best thing any company can do is understand their customers and satisfy their needs and wants better than their contributions. That’s clearly what Postie are doing, as demonstrated by their success in winning the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award for Best Clothing Store in New Zealand,” said Michele Levine, CEO Roy Morgan Research.
