Gillette Launches as Official Sponsor of Great Starts

Coinciding with P&G's official London 2012 Olympic Games sponsorship

To celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games Gillette is launching their new campaign as the official sponsor of great starts - so men all over the world can begin each day with a great start!

Gillette listens to what men for a great start - setting the pace as the innovation leader with high-precision advancements to dramatically improve the shaving experience.

P&G spokesperson Sujay Wasan says Gillette's new campaign is a great way to celebrate the Olympic Games sponsorship.

"Gillette is intrinsically linked to great starts for men around the world every day. A shave is a grooming ritual that makes them look, feel and be their best," says Wasan.

In 2010 P&G and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced their global partnership for the next five Olympic Games from London 2012 Olympic Games through the 2020 Olympic Games.

P&G will sponsor the next five Olympic Games, including London 2012 Olympic Games, Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, Rio 2016 Olympic Games as well as the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and 2020 Olympic Games. The agreement gives P&G global sponsorship rights, enabling the company to take the Olympic Games to the four billion consumers worldwide served by P&G brands today.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual (RRP $15.99), Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power (RRP $17.99), Gillette Series Thermal Facial Scrub (RRP $14.49) and Gillette Fusion Intense Cooling Balm (RRP $15.49) are available in stores nationwide.
