Mike Isbister of Confide Gains Qualified Security Assessor Certification
Mike Isbister, a senior security consultant with Confide, recently achieved Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) certification from the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. As a result, he is qualified to audit merchants for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Compliance.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organisations that handle cardholder information for the major debit, credit, prepaid, e-purse, ATM, and POS cards.
Confide’s managing director Steve Brooky said, “The PC Security Standards Council’s QSA qualification requirements are exacting for both companies and assessors, we congratulate Mike on achieving certification and are pleased to have a second qualified PCI QSA on our team.”
Mike has a BSc (Hons) in computer science from Victoria University of Wellington and joined Confide last year as a senior security consultant. He has previously had senior roles with Optimation New Zealand and Morgan Stanley in London.
