New SBS Bank Dunedin Manager named.
SBS Bank is pleased to announce Matt Isbister has been appointed as manager of their Dunedin branch.
Mr Isbister, who had previously been manager of SBS Bank’s Nelson branch, said he was looking forward to the new challenge.
“I’ve heard that Dunedin can be a bit of a cold place but its people have very warm hearts. I’m excited about getting involved in the activity of a vibrant city and helping SBS Bank to shine.
“My favourite thing about SBS Bank is that I can be myself. I really value personal relationships and SBS Bank encourages staff to develop and maintain strong relationships with the community. I'm probably a bit old school and think that's what sets us apart from the competition. We always take the time to understand our customer’s needs and set about trying to exceed their expectations.”
Mr Isbister had been heavily involved in the banking and financial sector for the past 15 years, mainly in the North Island.
SBS Bank general manager of retail Paul Atkinson said Mr Isbister was already an energetic, knowledgeable and well liked member of the SBS Bank family.
“We’re very pleased that Matt has made the decision to move to the deep-south. His passion and previous experience in Nelson mean he’s the perfect man for Dunedin.
“Matt’s commitment to both our staff and to our customers is second to none and we’re confident, that together with the Dunedin team, great things are going to happen.”
