Emirates Specials to South Africa, Dubai, India And Sri Lanka

Emirates has introduced special economy class return fares, on sale until July 6, for travel from Auckland and Christchurch to South Africa, India, Sri Lanka and Dubai.

The new fares, which apply to departures between July 8 and November 30, include Johannesburg and Cape Town for $2,429 and Mumbai for $1,929.

Other special round-trip rates are to Durban ($2,529), Dubai ($2,449), Delhi ($1,949) and Colombo ($1,919).

The fares to South Africa, India and Sri Lanka include the option to break the journey in Dubai and are inclusive of all taxes and levies. Some conditions apply.

Travellers from Wellington, Dunedin and Queenstown can book connections with the Emirates flights for $150 return.

Emirates flies its modern wide-bodied jets four times daily from New Zealand to Dubai and beyond via Australia. In economy class, the international airline offers more than 1200 channels of information, communication and entertainment in widescreen digital format, full gourmet meals and a generous 30kg luggage allowance, among other service features.
