Peter Chote appointed as AdviceFirst Executive Chairman

The Board of AdviceFirst Limited today announced the appointment of Peter Chote as the Executive Chairman for AdviceFirst.

AdviceFirst, part of the AMP family following the successful merger of AMP and AXA on March 31 2011, is an expert provider of a full range of financial services including insurance, investment, financial lending and superannuation – all in one place.

On behalf of the AdviceFirst Board, General Manager Jeff Franks said, “Peter’s substantial experience in the financial services industry and expert knowledge will enable us to achieve our strategic proposition and build on our success to create significant and long-term value for our customers.”

Mr. Chote’s career in financial services spans more than 20 years. He is an Authorised Financial Adviser, Chartered Life Underwriter, a current qualifying and life member of MDRT, and is past chair of MDRT Oceania, MDRT NZ, and ex-President of the AXA Advisers Association. Mr. Chote is married with four children and is the Club chairman of the Miramar Rangers AFC.
