Pumpkin Patch opens innovative new ‘playhouse’ store in Teed Street, Newmarket


On Thursday June 21, popular children’s wear brand Pumpkin Patch opens a unique new store at 8A Teed Street in Newmarket.


The Teed Street store, which is the first of its kind in Australasia for Pumpkin Patch, will provide its customers with a much more theatrical, interactive and cross-channel shopping experience. The new ‘Click and Collect’ strategy – whereby items purchased online can be collected in store; or if sizes or styles are not available at the time of their store visit, shoppers can hop online and place their order to be delivery to their home or nearest Patch store. This is in line with the growing trend of consumers increasingly shopping online as well as in stores.


Celebrating the magic of childhood and adventure, the design concept for the new standalone embodies the fun of a ‘playhouse’; with numerous activities for both adults and children to enjoy – including an interactive station with iPads available for use, colouring in sheets, toys, TV and more.


Shoppers are invited to swing by the new store on Saturday June 23 for the opening party. Activities for kids on the day will include –

Jelly Bean Jar guessing, design a skateboard or sneaker competitions: with entries going into the draw to win Pumpkin Patch gift cards.

• Design your own bunting, with winning designs to be displayed in the Teed Street shop window.
