Auckland, 25 June 2012

Koorb Consulting attained a Gold Business Intelligence competency within the Microsoft Partner Network. This demonstrates a “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meet customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment. The gold competency distinguishes Koorb Consulting as one of the top business intelligence partners in New Zealand.

“Business Intelligence has been in a big growth phase at Koorb,” says Nicholas Birch, MD of Koorb Consulting, “and we see this continuing in the immediate future. Attaining gold competency will help us continue to attract top quality dedicated BI consultants to deliver outstanding results to our customers as we expand this part of the practise.”

The Microsoft Business Intelligence Gold competency demonstrates Koorb’s expertise in designing, developing and implementing business intelligence solutions that allow their customers to monitor, analyse and plan business performance based on actionable business insight.

This assessment for gold includes a technical review of BI resources, with each Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in Business Intelligence requiring expert knowledge in the toolset and multiple exam passes. Assessed separately from the technical side is licensing knowledge, this ensures that Koorb can provide correct advice for licensing requirements.
