BP Continues to Lead Petrol Price Drops
BP has again today dropped the price of petrol by 3 cents per litre on petrol and 2 cents per litre on diesel, the seventh consecutive price drop the company has implemented since May.
Prices at most BP-owned service stations are:
91
Unleaded $ 196.9 cents per litre
95 Unleaded $ 204.9
cents per litre
Ultimate Diesel $ 141.9 cents per
litre
“It’s a continuation of what we’ve been seeing over the last six weeks,” BP Managing Director Matt Elliott said. “This latest drop is the result of a continued decline of international product prices, as well as the overall strengthening of the NZ dollar, despite it slipping back on Friday.”
“The main factors impacting fuel prices continue to benefit our customers here in New Zealand,” added Elliott. “Such regular and consecutive price drops haven’t been seen in this market since 2008,” he said.
This morning’s fall is BP’s seventh consecutive price drop since May.
