The V Motion Project – TVC Goes
Live
The V Motion Project TVC was launched last night.
The TVC represents the culmination The V Motion Project’s campaign, which has been rolling out for the past three months. V assembled a team of technology developers, audio engineers, motion artists, visual designers and NZ music producer Joel Little. This collaboration hacked Kinect motion tracking software and combined it with audio production software to engineer a tool that could transform your body's movements into music.
The webisodes, which detailed the journey of the project, have had over 100,000 online hits. Viewers were given a sneak preview of the TVC in webisode seven, where the team performed the entire song live, using just the body as an instrument, in an Auckland City car park.
The song is currently receiving radio airplay, and a music video will be released in the next week.
