Polynesian Spa upgrade

New Zealand’s leading international spa, Polynesian Spa has just completed a stylish upgrade to its deluxe spa therapy wing, the Lake Spa Retreat, which has offered sumptuous spa therapies to New Zealand and international clients since 2000.

The five spa therapy rooms and two relaxation lounges have been given a top to toe refurbishment with a new ambience that enhances the feeling of luxury and relaxation. Managing Director Martin Lobb says that “we wanted to create an even more luxurious feel to our Retreat where our clients can experience world class pampering.”

Deep, soft carpeting, marble showers and vanities, new lounging furniture and a colour scheme with soft earth colours is enhanced by murals of Rotorua volcanic and bush scenes.

“When our clients book a therapy at the Lake Spa Retreat, they will experience a few hours of bliss, overlooking the stunning panorama of Sulphur Bay. Along with receiving the benefit of pre-bathing in the Lake Spa hot mineral pools, the sumptuous spa therapy and the sense of peace and quiet in the Retreat will ensure that our clients go away happy” says Martin Lobb.

Polynesian Spa has recently celebrated its fortieth birthday and has always maintained a policy of continuous improvement in its product and customer service. It has been named as one of the top ten mineral spring spas in the world by the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller magazine six times in the past ten years.
