Find a Share House Locally and Abroad
A Recently Launched Website Lets New Zealanders Find
a Share House Locally and Abroad
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 24th 2012
Flatting with friends (or perhaps strangers) is a well known arrangement in New Zealand. In 2006, over 5 percent of New Zealanders shared house, according to Statistics New Zealand. Recognising this, Share My Flat has launched a website to make finding a room as hassle-free as possible.
Sharemyflat.com offers a free and easy to use service for New Zealanders. "Sharemyflat.com has been developed with the aim of making it even simpler and faster to find a room.” says Philippe Jardel, the site’s creator. “By the use of an interactive map, detailed search criteria and immediate search results, we aim to save our users’ time.”
In addition to local room searches, New Zealanders can use sharemyflat.com to search for rooms worldwide. With over 200 accommodation ads in countries as diverse as Australia, Italy and Spain sharemyflat.com provides a useful service for Kiwis heading abroad. Regardless of the share house location, all details can be accessed in English via the site’s multi-lingual interface. Users can also choose the currency they wish prices to be displayed in.
The site further provides a unique management system for its New Zealand room owners. The management system allows landlords to handle multiple room announcements, schedule inspection times and record conversations with prospective tenants.
With over 26000 homepage visits, sharemyflat.com
is set to become the co-housing reference point for
students, professionals and travellers
alike.
