TheInsider is an iPhone application that allows the user to find cheap food and drink deals around them. TheInsider is planning on launching in Wellington in August 2012. Company Overview TheInsider was developed by Wiretapp Labs Limited, a software development start-up founded by Niko Croskery and Jacob Duncan. Initially launching in Wellington, TheInsider is looking at expanding to other cities in New Zealand in 2012.

Description

TheInsider allows users to locate happy hours, "2 for 1" deals and other similar specials in Wellington bars, cafes and restaurants. TheInsider finds the closest, highest rated and newest deals available, and allows the user to extensively search and filter deals. TheInsider is a dynamic application that allows users to contribute by "liking" or "disliking" deals, suggesting deals to be added and removed and sharing deals with friends. When developing TheInsider our goal was to create a comprehensive database of all available deals. TheInsider does not require the purchase of vouchers or redemption of coupons, and does not limit itself to only listing deals from "participating retailers".
