appoints new Marketing Manager
The Waitangi National Trust has today announced the appointment of Nineke Metz as Marketing Manager.
For the past six years Ms Metz has worked as International Marketing Manager for the regional tourism organisation Destination Northland. Prior to that she worked as a Senior PR Consultant with Lankhorst PR in the Netherlands looking after Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand. Ms Metz has an extensive network of tourism trade and media contacts.
Waitangi National Trust CEO Greg McManus said: “We are delighted that Nineke is joining the team at Waitangi at a time of significant change for the organisation. We are very focused on developing Waitangi into an iconic destination for domestic and international visitors to Northland and Nineke’s experience with international markets in particular will greatly assist us in achieving that goal.”
Nineke will start her new role at Waitangi on Monday 3rd September.
