Tip Top Bakery named as one of New Zealand’s most trusted brands
Tip Top Bakery has emerged as one of New Zealand’s most trusted brands in the annual Reader’s Digest survey of Trusted Brands.
The Tip Top Bakery brand achieved the highest recognition score for dry goods (averaging 4.5 out of a possible 5) and the second highest score on trust (averaging 8.22 out of a possible 10).
That makes it a power brand, says Readers Digest, one that combines high levels of trust with widespread recognition.
The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey was conducted by Catalyst Research, who surveyed a national representative sample of New Zealanders about brands. Participants were asked to name their most Trusted Brands in 25 categories of products and services across a wide range of industries. 1214 New Zealanders completed an online questionnaire giving a trust scale of 1-10 to a list of 168 brands.
“We’re delighted and honoured to achieve this level of trust,” says General Manager, Greg Coffey. “Every week Kiwis enjoy 2 million loaves of Tip Top bread, buns, rolls, muffins and fruit breads. That’s a lot of Tip Top goodness spread across a population of 4 million.”
These high levels of trust didn’t arise overnight: they’ve been earned by Tip Top over a 60 year period.
“To earn the trust of Kiwi families we have to deliver on the Tip Top promise every day,” says Greg. “That takes passion and commitment, the essential ingredients that we have baked into our products since our founding in 1951. Tip Top Bakery has now been a firm family favourite for three generations of Kiwi mums and their families.”
Tip Top’s Master Baker, Doug Leighton, who has been a Tip Top man for 47 years, typifies the passion and commitment to excellence. He continues to ensure the quality of each of Tip Top's wide variety of great tasting, nutritious products.
Because Tip Top loaves, bun, and rolls contain no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours – a long-standing company policy – Kiwi mums know they can trust Tip Top products to taste great and provide great nutritional value for their families.
And, as a sponsor of the Kids Can charitable trust, Tip Top provides fresh bread to thousands of underprivileged children throughout New Zealand every year.
