More time needed to resolve Aorangi
dispute
Today the Timaru High Court adjourned the hearing for the ownership of introduced assets to Aorangi Securities Limited from 29 October 2012 to 20 May 2013.
“With recently surfaced documentation in storage of approximately 70 boxes and 100 files of Aorangi related material, it simply wasn’t possible for all lawyers to assess the relevance to the hearing in the matter of the introduced assets.
“This hearing had been expected to be heard in 2013, but a postponement brought it forward to 29 October 2012. Although disappointing to be reverting back to a 2013 hearing date, this adjournment is most important to ensure the right result for all involved,” said the statutory managers today.
