Finalists Announced for Kenexa’s Best Workplaces

Finalists Announced for Kenexa’s Best Workplaces in New Zealand

Kenexa (NYSE: KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, today announced the top 40 finalists for the Best Workplaces Survey in New Zealand.

Now in its 13th year, Kenexa’s Best Workplaces survey (formerly known as JRA Best Workplaces), is the largest study of workplaces of its kind in New Zealand, and this year includes the opinions of 33,000 kiwis from a record 289 organisations.

“It is a tremendous achievement to enter the ranks of finalists in the Kenexa Best Workplaces survey, especially when you consider that this is entirely based on the opinions of their employees,” said Sanchia Yonge, managing director of Kenexa New Zealand. “Participating organisations learn how they stack up against other businesses and past winners report a notable increase in the calibre of job candidates and their ability to retain top talent.”

Finalist organisations represent national icons and local start-ups across a wide range of industries, including city councils, education providers and insurers, demonstrating that any organisation can be a great workplace.

The Overall Winner, as well as ‘Best in Category’ and ‘Most Improved’ in four size categories, will be announced by local legend Frankie Stevens at the Best Workplaces Awards Dinner on 1 November. Of this year’s top 40, 23 have been finalists previously, with Flight Centre back for the 10th year.
