Pilots Reach Settlement with Eagle Airways – Industrial Action Withdrawn

The New Zealand Air Line Pilots' Association (NZALPA) confirms that today members employed by Air New Zealand subsidiary, Eagle Airways, have reached a settlement in their bargaining for a new collective agreement.

As a consequence of achieving a settlement, NZALPA has withdrawn all strike notices for industrial action that is currently being undertaken and additional industrial action scheduled to commence next week.

NZALPA President Glen Kenny said "We are pleased that a settlement has been reached. The required ratification process will now commence, which will take a few weeks to complete."

If successfully ratified, pilots will receive enhanced superannuation entitlements that are currently available to other NZALPA Air NZ Group pilots.
