Tuesday 23 October - The market
was relatively flat at the end of the day, posting minor
gains. Amongst the sectors, financials and materials eked
out gains where as energy and consumer staples lost ground.
IT was in the spotlight after a negative trading update by
SMS Management and Technology (SMX) made the stock tumble
close to 23%.
The All Ordinaries rose 3.4 points (0.07%)
