CI daily flights take off
China Airlines (CI) recently launched daily flights from Auckland to Taipei. Taiwan’s national carrier increased its frequency from three to seven days a week by adding in an Auckland /Sydney/Taipei service. It now has three flights per week via Brisbane and four via Sydney. CI sales manager New Zealand Gareth Williamson says the new daily service signals an increased ability to unlock the New Zealand business travel sector. Read More..

NZ pulls HKG-LHR and codeshares with CX
Air New Zealand (NZ) and Cathay Pacific (CX) have signed a codeshare agreement on all services between New Zealand and Hong Kong, effective from January 31, 2013, with sales commencing December 12, 2012. NZ will withdraw services between Hong Kong and London from March 4, 2013 as the airline focuses on returning its international network to profitability. Read More...
NZ safety video a global hit
Air New Zealand’s (NZ) latest safety video hit 6.2 million YouTube views in the four days since it launched. The Hobbit-inspired video has been created in conjunction with Weta and features appearances from Jackson, as well as the character Gollum, and descendants of J.R.R Tolkien, author of the The Hobbit on which the trilogy is based. World Journeys have a new offer on their European small group hosted cruise Journeys, which takes advantage of current earlybird airfare deals, and rewards agents for each booking made.
