The Palms Shopper Wins with a Swift Cup of Coffee

A regular visit for lunch at Robert Harris Café at The Palms has seen one lucky customer drive away with more than a cup of coffee this week.

Shirley resident, Pam Williams won a new car as part of Robert Harris Café’s nationwide ‘Win a Suzuki Swift’ competition, which ran between 3 September and 27 October and was open to all customers who spent $15 or more at any Robert Harris Café. Pam and her husband were having lunch at Robert Harris when they entered the competition and were one of more than 45,000 entries eager to win one of the two brand new Suzuki Swift’s on offer.

“I’m absolutely overwhelmed and ecstatic to have won! We were badly in need of a new car and were actually in the process of finding one. I was over-the-moon when presented with the keys to my new Boost Blue Suzuki Swift on 6 December. While it was very hard keeping my excitement at bay, I kept news of my win a secret from my family so they could enjoy the surprise during what they thought would be a regular shopping trip to The Palms.”

Amy Jatoorapreuk, owner of Robert Harris The Palms says customers loved the competition and the entry box had to be emptied several times. “Congratulations to Pam, it’s not every day you get lunch and come away with a new car as well!

“The team at Robert Harris Café at The Palms is thrilled that one of our customers has won this big prize. We look forward to seeing Pam and her husband again.”

Further details of competitions and events taking place at The Palms can be found at www.thepalms.co.nz.
