Todd Property Welcomes Pegasus School
Announcement
The
announcement that construction of the Pegasus Primary School
will start in April has been welcomed by the development’s
new owners Todd Property Group and has led to increased
interest in properties for sale.
The Minister of Education has released details about the new $15 million years 1-8 school and says it has an opening target date of early 2014.
“This is great news for Pegasus and the wider community. There is strong interest in the development and this announcement continues that momentum,” says Todd Property Group Managing Director Evan Davies.
“We’ve been fielding numerous enquiries about the school and when it will be built. Now it has been confirmed, people can be confident of their investment in Pegasus. If you’ve got a young family and the kids are due to go to school in a couple of years, this will be a great place to live.
“You can see the community at Pegasus taking shape. This announcement builds on the opening of the Nature’s Play pre-school and contributes to Pegasus being a great place to raise a family.
“Todd Property Group is confident in the success of Pegasus. People have the chance to buy into a quality home in an appealing and safe place to live, close to Christchurch city.
“Every second day builders begin work on a new house. Once fully built, the area will be home for up to 5,000 people in approximately 1,600 houses.
“Pegasus offers a unique lifestyle with all homes in walking distance of the beach, a beautiful 14 hectare lake, the 18-hole Pegasus Golf and Sports Club, 100 hectares of wetlands and now Pegasus Primary School.
“We’ve seen renewed interest and confidence from people looking to get in early to the development. The announcement that their children will soon be able to go to a new local school makes Pegasus even more attractive.”
