Holiday bookings flying out the door
The best panacea to ease back into work after the holidays is to book another holiday and Kiwis are setting the pace for 2013 with holiday bookings flying out the door.
Andie Smith, Harvey World Travel Marketing Manager says, "This year has got off to a fast start and I think that's for a number of reasons, including people feeling buoyed by the good weather and also with some new destinations coming on offer at very competitive prices.
"This includes Hawaii which is firmly back on the holiday map with Hawaiian Airlines direct flights starting in March, this is introducing some competition to the market resulting in great prices. Bali's seasonal direct Air New Zealand flights are back after last year's success along with the Sunshine Coast."
These are some of the destinations expected to be popular at Harvey World Travel’s one-day, book-in-store-only holiday expo on February 16.
"The beauty of the in-store expo is that customers can talk face-to-face with their local Harvey World Travel Professional about their holiday and they don't have to wait in long queues surrounded by masses of people.
"There will be great holiday deals for destinations around the world, only available on the day at the stores."
The annual expo is being held on Saturday, February 16, from 10am-3pm, and is a one-day, in-store offer only.
Harvey World Travel has 51 stores throughout the country, stretching from Whangarei in the north to Dunedin in the south.
