Announces Senior Management Appointments in Direct, Advice
and Wealth
SYDNEY, 4 March 2013: ClearView Wealth Limited (ClearView, ASX: CVW) announces senior management appointments in Direct, Advice and Wealth in its quest to build a successful and profitable life insurance, wealth management and financial planning business.
To renew its focus on its Direct Business, ClearView has appointed Elliot Singfield as Head of Direct. Since 4 February 2013, Mr Singfield has been leading the Direct Business which includes ClearView Life and Wealth products sold to customers via telemarketing, the internet and strategic partners. Prior to joining ClearView, Mr Singfield was the Chief Operating Officer of InsuranceLine and was instrumental in the extraordinary growth of that business from its start-up phase.
Simon Swanson, Managing Director at ClearView, said “I am delighted that Elliot will be leading our efforts to ensure effective delivery of our Direct products and services to ClearView’s customers and strategic partners. He brings much technical expertise, team work and leadership capability to make ClearView’s Direct business a success.”
To ensure effective support for ClearView advisers (employed, franchised and aligned), ClearView has appointed Mike Pope as Head of ClearView Financial Advice. Mr Pope has over 20 years experience in the industry and more recently over six years as Executive Director Millennium3 and Head of Product, Risk, and Research.
Mr Swanson added “With regulatory changes affecting our industry, we are delighted to have Mike join the management team as his deep knowledge of the advice business and strong product knowledge will further strengthen the ClearView offer in the marketplace”.
Other recent appointments include:
• Jason Jones as National Sales Manager – Wealth, who is responsible for growing ClearView’s wealth management business;
• Kellie Byrne as Business Development Manager NSW/ACT, who is focused on expanding ClearView’s adviser market in NSW; and
• Rob McPherson as State Manager WA/SA who joined in October 2012 to develop and grow the IFA markets in WA and SA.
