Building compliance company strengthens Wellington presence
Building compliance and maintenance management company CoveKinloch has strengthened its Wellington based presence after seeing an opportunity in the market.
CoveKinloch has purchased established Wellington City based BCI Ltd (Building Compliance & Investigations Ltd) as of March 1. CoveKinloch is a well known company that already has an office in Lower Hutt, as well as Auckland and Hamilton.
CoveKinloch Director Peter Bamford says, "The acquisition of BCI enables CoveKinloch to better service its existing and new clients, we are committed to being a New Zealand premier service provider.
"We see a strong market opportunity in Wellington for our approach to offering building compliance and other related services under one easily accessible umbrella. We are an industry leader in this respect by offering an all encompassing solution for building compliance needs, this includes building warrants of fitness, evacuation plans and training, building consent applications, weathertightness reports and remediation, and building surveying."
Peter adds that the extended client base that the purchase of BCI brings to the CoveKinloch Lower Hutt office, further strengthens the company's ability to provide services to clients throughout the country.
"CoveKinloch is already firmly established in Auckland, the Waikato and the Lower Hutt, and we will soon be looking to further extend our client base beyond the immediate Wellington City and Hutt areas up to the Hawke's Bay and across to the Wairarapa."
A cross section of CoveKinloch's clients around the country include Bay of Plenty District Health Board, Westfield Shopping Centres, Victoria University of Wellington and Accor Novotel Auckland Airport hotel.
