Yellowfox joins forces with Joshua Hall

Yellowfox joins forces with up-and-coming industrial designer Joshua Hall, to launch ‘Mr Fox’ furniture

3 April 2013: Auckland-based interior design company, Yellowfox, has collaborated with up-and-coming industrial designer, Joshua Hall, to launch a collection of furniture under the new brand name ‘Mr Fox – Design by Joshua Hall’.

A bunk bed was the first piece to launch under the new brand, with three more pieces – a coffee table, desk and cabinet – hitting the market this week.

Yellowfox manager Shelley Brockliss says, “Joshua has showed true dedication with this project. He has designed 12 new concepts for the Mr Fox brand so far, of which, three have been chosen for production, as well as a bunk bed he re-designed for us last year.”

Bauhaus in Parnell has agreed to support the new furniture collection. The upmarket boutique furniture store is under new management and aims to specialise in New Zealand products, supporting up-and-coming designers like Hall.

“It’s overwhelming to have this kind of support from such key players in the industry,” says Hall. “And this is just the beginning.”

Hall has also teamed up with Bestwood in order to offer a custom build service for all of his furniture pieces. With over 24 beautiful veneers to choose from, customers have the freedom to create their own captivating design aesthetic for their home.

“Everyone wants their furniture to be unique and have a bespoke that will fit with their house or space. Therefore I think it’s vital we provide this level of service for our customers.”
