Introducing
Country TV
Launching May 1st, 2013 –
on Sky Channel 081
This month, Sky TV’s
premium channel ‘Country99TV’ announces a new home, a
new name and new themed evenings.
Effective May 1st, Country99TV becomes Country TV with dedicated theme nights, available on Sky channel 081.
This premium channel available as a paid for subscriber service, will dedicate each evening to a specific aspect of the rural sector. Including lifestyle, news, agri-business, equestrian and entertainment programmes – Country TV will also continue to offer their premium weather news service which is widely regarded by the rural sector as New Zealand’s most comprehensive weather service!
“With our themed evenings, viewers can enjoy a number of programmes that are focused on their specific interests. Instead of the viewer having to plan around the channel’s programming they can now pop in one night a week (or several) and watch multiple shows covering one aspect of the country lifestyle that they love.”, says David Rose, Country TV CEO.
