Office heroes given chance to win a day off work
Wednesday 17 April is Administrative Professionals’ Day, and Drake New Zealand is giving Kiwi bosses the chance to reward their hard working office heroes – secretaries, administrators, co-ordinators, accounts people, assistants and receptionists – with a day off work.
If you’d like to acknowledge someone within your team that goes above and beyond, this is a great opportunity to do so. Drake is asking bosses around the country to tell them why their office heroes deserve a day off. The most deserving hero from each of our nine locations Auckland (North, West, South & Central), Hamilton, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch will win a day off work, while Drake will give them a gift hamper and provide the boss with a skilled temporary worker for the day, free of charge, on a day that suits their business.
Gary Withers, General Manager of Drake New Zealand, says that the hard work done by support staff often goes unnoticed and unrewarded.
“Administrative Professionals’ Day provides a great opportunity for employers to take the time to thank their support staff, whose work is often done behind the scenes and is therefore largely unrecognised.
“Drake Office Heroes is an easy way for employers to say thanks, and what better way to do that by nominating them for a day off!”
To nominate your office hero, please visit the website www.drakeofficeheroes.co.nz
Entries close on 8th May at 5pm, and winners will be announced on Friday 10th May.
